Visit our Lord in Adoration
on Monday, February 2nd from 12pm—1pm
The Blessed Sacrament (a consecrated host) is placed In a vessel called
a monstrance and set on the Altar.
This is Jesus, truly present - Body, Soul, and Divinity - inviting you to be with Him.
When you enter, you can sit before the Lord. You might choose to pray the Rosary, read scripture or pray with us in adoration. You don’t have to “do” anything special, just be present with Jesus and let him love you.
Think of it like siting in the sunlight: you don’t have to make the sun shine on you.
You just have to sit there and let the light and warmth do the work. In the same way, being in the presence of the Son allows His grace to touch our heart and bring healing, peace and strength, even if you don’t feel it right away.
Let our Eucharistic Holy Hour on February 2nd at 12 Noon to 1 PM brighten up your winter day.

SOCIAL CONCERNS
Have you heard of Mustard Seed Commitments? The USCCB offers small ways to commit to the seven themes of Catholic Social Teaching. Here are three of the them:
Life & Dignity of the Human Person – Commit to greeting and speaking respectfully to someone who is ignored.
Rights & Responsibilities – Eat one simple meal per week and donate what you’d have spent to a local shelter,
or volunteer at a Hot Meals program.
Dignity of Work & Rights of Workers – Support fair-wage businesses; avoid buying from companies known for unfair labor practices.
How can you make a Mustard See Commitment? Very simply: pick something and commit to doing it.
Go to
www.USCCB.orgto find more information on Catholic Social Teaching and Mustard Seed Commitments.
